The Merrill Award, named in honor of Western Fairs Association Founder Louis Merrill, is given for those entries that clearly demonstrate innovation, vision, and excellence.

The Oregon State Fair was recognized for excellence in Overall Programming, the virtual All Oregon E-Fair, and Emergency Response, as the Oregon State Fair and Exposition Center served as an evacuation center for thousands after wildfires spread throughout the state in September 2020.

When Covid-19 cancelled the 155th Oregon State Fair, we helped our client pivot to digital engagement this summer with The All Oregon E-Fair, an online celebration of everything Oregon.

Fans shared their fair memories, favorite photos of Oregon, pets, heroes, teachers, and graduates with the fair to enter to win tickets and carnival rides to next year's fair. On August 28th, the fair revealed their incredible 2021 entertainment with live streaming events and digital content across social media, paid digital advertising, and e-mail marketing.

Project Highlights:

* 11 videos from 2021 entertainers like Chicago, Pat Benatar, Granger Smith, and Jon Pardi
* 57,000 social media engagements
* 350,000 people reached
