Community Management

This professional service is an important aspect of proper social media for businesses. A dedicated social media specialist creates all clients posts across multiple channels, answer questions online, and responds immediately to comments and actions, especially regarding discounts and contests. When customers post complaints or suggestions, the community manager provides this information to the client for an appropriate response and action. In addition to managing posts, responses, and contesting, the community manager’s duties also including increasing social media followers.

Contests

Running contesting on social media platforms is one of the best ways to increase brand awareness, interaction, and follower numbers. Contesting can be done on virtually every social media platform available, however Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are preferred. Third party software is used to manage the contests and includes all the important rules and disclaimers.

For Facebook contests, we highly recommend promoting the buying promoted posts and Facebook display ads to increase reach and exposure. These ads increase the number of impressions significantly and allows clients to target specific demographics.

Social media contest types include:

  • Sweepstakes (Enter to Win)
  • Like/Share to Win
  • Photo/Video Submission Contests

One of the most successful social media contests Royle Media has implemented was for the Oregon State Fair in 2015. Over the course of the summer, Oregonians submitted seven (7) word poems about what they love about Oregon. Thousands of entries were received. In 2017 Royle Media completed 12+ contests for the Oregon State Fair, several promoted with significant online ad budgets. The contests create excitement and anticipation.
