Digital Advertising Marketing Assistant

This position requires a dedicated, organized, multi-tasking individual to fill the role of Marketing Assistant. This administrative role assists with various marketing activities, including updating presentations, tracking expenses, helping monitor seasonal deadlines, ordering materials, doing light research, and processing invoices. The position requires someone skilled in managing deadlines, maintaining spreadsheets, and taking clear, meticulous notes.

As a Marketing Assistant, this position will work in close collaboration with management to aid in day-to-day marketing activities, including social media and creative content development, to convert qualified leads into sales opportunities. The marketing assistant candidate must be creative, a quick learner, and able to refine efforts as needed to maximize effectiveness.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Administrative support to Account Managers with tasks associated with Client needs.
  • Craft compelling social media posts, messaging for paid ads, and supporting content to drive sales.
  • Assist in social media efforts to promote events, content marketing, and campaigns via established networks.
  • Assist in creating graphics for marketing materials, including social media advertisements and website content development, in communicating brand value effectively.
  • Deliver consistent results, hits deadlines within the scope of the role, and takes ownership of tasks and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Professional marketing experience preferred.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor are required.
  • Working knowledge of all major social media platforms and emerging technology (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google, etc.).
  • Content writing expertise is a must.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational and editing skills.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Passion for social media, content writing, and creativity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with internal and external teams.
  • Energized about working in a fast-paced environment along with the ability to adapt to change.
  • Positive, contributing team player
