Dr. Shani Johnson
CEO
Native Services
Dr. Shani Johnson is the primary owner of Royle Media and manages the company's finances, human resources, and contracts. She also leads Royle Media's Native-focused business, working directly with tribal enterprises, government agencies, and non-profits. Shani is an enrolled member of the Hoopa Valley Tribe and of Yurok descent. Education and healthcare are her primary areas of interest and uses Royle Media's sophisticated communication tools to reach and inform Native populations. The former grade school teacher and university scholar enjoys writing research and writing, which translates well from education to marketing.

Royle Johnson
President
Royle oversees client services, strategy, and technology at Royle Media. He enjoys meeting with clients, writing strategies and plans, and testing the latest marketing and advertising technologies. He has 30 years of marketing technology experiences, starting off his career in software marketing with clients that included Microsoft, Intel, and Aldus (Adobe). In 1998 he started Pin Point Marketing in Seattle, providing website development, email marketing, and search engine optimization services. That same year, he started working with Google, buying AdWords shortly after the paid search program's debut. He was Corporate Director of Digital Sales for Entercom Radio managing platforms, inventory, and digital advertising revenue for 21 markets and 122 radio stations. In 2013 he left his digital leadership role in corporate radio and started Royle Media with his wife Shani.

Tim Williams
VP Client Services
Tim supervises Royle Media's account management and production teams, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations. He is an organized manager of people, vendors, systems, and technology with a keen business mind. After a full advertising and marketing career, Tim and his wife relocated to Oregon from Seattle to be closer to family. Before joining Royle Media, he managed a team of 20+ advertising and marketing professionals for Sound Publishing outside Seattle.

Alex Gabriel
Digital Media Director
Alex joined Royle Media in 2018 with ten years of digital advertising agency experience. Paid search (SEM), search engine optimization, social media advertising, and programmatic video and display campaigns are his specialty. He is excellent with website and social analytics. Alex is a technical strategist who keeps Google and Facebook on their toes. Alex first met Royle on the rugby pitch, where he still spends most of his Saturdays.
He is a University of Oregon graduate (journalism) loves Ducks football and basketball.

Drew Marine
Communications Manager
Drew is a Southern California native who has lived across the country for her work in broadcast journalism. She spent six years as a reporter, writing and filming her own stories before transitioning to public relations at Royle Media. Drew is a member of the Juaneño Band of Mission Indians, Acjachemen Nation in San Juan Capistrano.
Drew graduated from Arizona State University and is happy to now be in the Pacific Northwest for the cooler weather. When she’s not at work, she’s cuddling with her cats, Ira and Pod, or at a local movie theater.

Charlie Klever
Art Director
Charlie is one of the rare creatives who excels in both digital and print design. At Royle Media, he has designed and managed the production of complete websites, a 120-page magazine, video commercials, print and display banner ads, billboards, social media graphics, email marketing campaigns, and much more.
Graduated from Washington State University (DTC), Charlie loves getting into the weeds of design problems while listening to his favorite podcasts.
